Belfast News: PSNI East Belfast Murder Appeal
Dundonald is still searching out the murderer of pensioner and war veteran Charlie Steed. The 92-year-old's house stands vacant and boarded up as a monument to this
horrific crime.
Charlie's body was found on the 26th February 2007 in his Dundonald
bungalow in East Belfast, he had been battered to death.
Detectives investigating his murder have appealed for people who employed workmen close to Canberra Park, Dundonald, East Belfast to contact them, for people who can shed light on Charlie's final movements and for anyone reporting suspicious activities during this 72 hour period.
Can we allow this crime to remain unsolved? No, we owe it to Charlie's memory, our community and to our elderly to find these murderers.
