IT
IS WELL WITH MY SOUL....
| It may
well have been a showery night at
Ravenhill Rugby ground in Belfast, but
despite this, spirits were high as
Pastor James McConnell and the Whitewell
Tabernacle Church lead the City of
Belfast in praise and worship... |
|
 |
Thousands
of Christians from all over Northern
Ireland and abroad, gathered to share in
Christian Fellowship, with drama,
singing groups and the Gospel of Jesus
Christ preached by Pastor James
McConnell. In his message the
pastor... |
declared many people were
in prisons which were more secure that any
prison man could build, but these prisons and
strongholds could be destroyed and pull downed
in the name of Jesus Christ. This message
of hope saw the pastor preach despite the rains,
and run around the Ravenhill pitch calling on
sinners to repent and backsliders to return and
many answered the call, to accept Jesus Christ
as their personal Saviour. Before the service
closed the visiting Nigerian Pastor prayed for
the sick in the stadium.
It has been
many years since Belfast witnessed this kind of
Christian rally and one of its major highlights
came from the South African member of the Ulster
Rugby team who gave his testimony. Belfast News on
Sunday the 12th
September 2010 was that the
Gospel of Jesus Christ echoed once again around
the City of Belfast.
